The wonders of modern technology have enabled a member of the Ardnamurchan Community Archaeology group to take some photographs and video of the MacIain’s church, St Comghan’s, from the air.  Many thanks indeed to Jim Caldwell, who lives on Ardnamurchan, for permitting me to publish his picture.

Currently, the group is carrying out a full survey of the gravestones in the churchyard. Considering it has been in use since the 8th century, there is little evidence of the thousands who must have been buried on this site.
